On Friday 26th<\/sup> October, OIDEL participated in the Second Congress on Human Rights, \u201cHuman Rights and Sustainable Development Goals\u201d, organized by the Mainel Foundation (www.mainel.org<\/a>) at the College of Lawyers in Valencia. Among the speakers were Miguel \u00c1ngel Moratinos, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paul Dembinsky, Director of the Observatoire de la Finance, and Stefano Semplici, former President of the UNESCO International Bioethics Committee. The Congress was concluded by the Vice-President of the Generalitat of Valencia, M\u00f3nica Oltra.
\nIgnasi Grau represented OIDEL at the conference with a presentation to the panel titled \u201cEducating in Human Rights – the Key to Sustainability\u201d together with Vicente Bellver, professor of Philosophy of Law and Political Philosophy at Valencia University. OIDEL\u2019s presentation was divided into two parts; the first part illustrated how human rights education represents an essential component of the right to education from a human rights perspective. The second part of the presentation aimed at showing the fundamental role that the international community has given to human rights education within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals and Education 2030.

Participaci\u00f3n en el Congreso \u201cLos Derechos Humanos y los Objetivos de desarrollo Sostenible\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

El viernes 26 de octubre OIDEL particip\u00f3 en el II Congreso sobre Derechos Humanos \u201cLos Derechos Humanos y los Objetivos de desarrollo Sostenible\u201d organizado por la Fundaci\u00f3n Mainel (www.mainel.org<\/a>) en el Colegio de Abogados de Valencia. Entre los oradores del congreso hubo el Ex \u2013 ministro de exteriores Miguel \u00c1ngel Moratinos, Paul Dembinsky director del Observatoire de la Finance o Stefano Semplici Ex-presidente del Comit\u00e9 Internacional de Bio\u00e9tica de la UNESCO. El Congreso fue clausurado por la Vice-presidenta de la Generalitat de la Generalitat Valencia M\u00f3nica Oltra.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ignasi Grau en representaci\u00f3n de OIDEL hizo su presentaci\u00f3n en el panel Educar en derechos humanos, clave de la sostenibilidad junto con Vicente Bellver Catedr\u00e1tico de Filosof\u00eda del Derecho y Filosof\u00eda Pol\u00edtica de la Universitat de Val\u00e8ncia. OIDEL tuvo una presentaci\u00f3n en dos partes, en la primera mostr\u00f3 como desde una perspectiva de derechos humanos la educaci\u00f3n en derechos humanos es una parte esencial del derecho a la educaci\u00f3n. La segunda parte consisti\u00f3 en mostrar el importante papel que la comunidad internacional le ha otorgado a la educaci\u00f3n en derechos humanos en los Objetivos del Desarrollo Sostenible y en el Programa Educaci\u00f3n 2030.
